Steam traps and valves have a limited life, they will fail eventually, and
can be costly when they do. AccuTrak lets you hear the ultrasonic sound
created by turbulence inside the body of a valve or steam trap. When in
the closed position a bad valve seat will scream for attention if it is leaking.
Use
AccuTrak to test check valves, TXV’s, control valves... you name
it! Steam Traps generally fail either in the open or closed postion. Steam is expensive to produce. Leaking steam traps can waste thousands of dollars in live steam, and a trap stuck in the closed position will not remove damaging condensate. Identifying these problems early can mean significant cost savings. |

| The surfaces of internal bearing components are constantly wearing down, with increased ultrasonic sound as they progressively get worse. AccuTrak lets you hear the sound created by the wear. The VPE-1000 allows you to take a digital reading of the intensity which is compared to previous levels recorded during other scheduled maintenance calls.
